Although these days a lot of people say the same about Valentine’s Day -“we have to celebrate love every day” or “it´s pure marketing”- we have to look at it from other point of view. Nowadays, seeing the situation, days like these, can help the trade and also, this day I always feel a special energy. Maybe it sounds silly, but I feel people seemingly love each other more and the displays of affection are more on. Anyway, for this post I´ve chosen a very special setting. It is the most famous bridge of Cologne, where couples put a lock on the railing fence and then they throw the key into the river. It is a magic place.

I´ve always associated with Valentine’s Day black and red colours, but in this occasion I´ve wanted to give a different feel and put gold. I´ve always combined this pants, which I called “jewel pants”, with total black garments, but this time I opted for a white shirt and black cardigan. The high heel shoes are a basic to go with everything and, of course, the necklace to give a meaning to the look.

Aunque este día de San Valentín siempre se suele decir lo mismo; “el amor hay que celebrarlo a diario” o “esto es puro marketing”, hay que mirarlo desde otro punto de vista; conforme esta la situación, en cierta manera ayuda al comercio y en cierta manera, este día también noto una energía especial, es una tontería pero parece que la gente se quiere más, y las muestras de cariño están más presente. Sea como sea, para este post he elegido un escenario muy especial. Es el puente más famoso de Colonia, en él, las parejas colocan un candado para posteriormente lanzar la llave al rio. Es un lugar un tanto mágico.

Siempre se ha asociado a San Valentín los colores negro o rojo, pero yo en esta ocasión he querido dar un aire diferente y colocar dorado. Estos pantalones a los que yo llamo “pantalones joya” siempre los he combinado con absoluto negro, pero esta vez me decanté por una camisa blanca y cardigan negro. Los zapatos de tacón negro un básico al que siempre recurro y cómo no?? El colgante para dar significado al look.
